Bodyheat, SWG3 Glasgow

Bodyheat

Following a lengthy design period and having worked with the design team directly over the last year to assist with plant selections and site knowledge,  we are delighted to have an apointemnt to installall mechanical plant forming SWG3's recently launched "Bodyheat" project.

Ambient heat generated by party goers during events within both the 'Galvanisers' and 'TV Studio' venues is usually  exhausted externally into the atmosphere.  Within this proposal, this 'wasted' energy will be recycled and stored within newly installed on-site bore holes to capture and store as hot water until it can be used to heat the venue at a later date.

This is a greatly innovative concept conceived by Townrock Energy, principally as it aims to use available plant solutions alternatively, in a more benificial enviromentally creative way, this will assist with SWG3's pledge to become carbon neutral by 2025.

Works are due to commence in February and will be completed within 6/8 weeks, we are very excited to be working on such an innovative project, and deligheted to continue to support SWG3 in their growing and thriving business.
