We had been approached by an existing client for the supply and installation of a ducted air conditioning system within a new extension space, forming living accommodation on a south facing elevation.
The resulting solution's are two symmetrical ducted system's leading to a single 6 meter long linear grille. Comprising of a single split plenum and four spiral duct connections to each section. Outwardly the installation will be simple, clean and discreet, but behind plasterboard it is a very 'busy' detail, as the route around the central skylight has removed all available free area.
The overall aesthetic is minimal and efficient, due to the space being south facing and almost fully glazed on three elevations it is also essential to the success on the space.
